During the construction phase of the project, the builder must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the local and municipal authorities to ensure that the project is in proper working order.

Upon completion of a building, a completion certificate is awarded by a local authority (either a development authority, a municipal corporation, or a panchayat) after a thorough inspection has been conducted. The certificate enables buyers to be assured that the construction work has been carried out according to the standards and designs that have been approved by the local authority.
